Morgan Ward has an extremely liquid structure, with engineers constantly on the move. In such structures there is key emphasis on stability and support. Ann is here to provide this stability and support, also providing any backup if needed by the engineers.
Ann is the first point of contact for new and existing customers, and has been a part of the Morgan Ward team for over 25 years.
Simon joined Morgan Ward in 1984, originally as an apprentice test engineer after switching professions. In 2005 Simon assumed the position of managing director after the retirement of Nigel Eckersley.
In the early part of his career Simon gained experience working in all industry sectors, at various site locations nationally and globally. Similar experience was obtained inspecting components within Morgan Ward’s laboratories.
Currently Simon is recognised as a leader within the NDT field, amassing level three (LIII) qualifications in all aspects of NDT along with various company LIII approvals. Simon also successfully completed a post graduate radiological protection qualification, enabling him to gain a certification of competence’ issued to the assessing body RPA 2000.

Mark has always been interested in concepts and techniques of NDT. From leaving school he immediately sought employment in the field of NDT, subsequently gaining over 28 years experience and building a superb reputation amongst fellow inspectors and clients alike.
Mark joined the Morgan Ward team in 1990 and now manages the Scottish branch of Morgan Ward, with their head office and management personnel located at Prestwick Airport, Scotland.

Following Jon’s 5 years experience welding and fabricating various components for highly specialised firms, he switched professions pursuing a career in NDT, joining the Morgan Ward team in 1989.
Nowadays Jon is recognised as a principal industrial NDT technician, due to his technical expertise, experience and knowledge of the industry. Jon specialises in the inspection of forgings, castings, plate, bar, tube and extruded materials.

Steve has an extensive and thorough background in NDT testing and quality management, amassed from over 30 years experience. Now Steve is at the forefront of NDT quality standards, writing the instructions to BS5750, ISO 9000 and NADCAP.
Steve helps Morgan Ward to maintain NADCAP, CAA, UKAS, FAA and EASA Part 145 standards, as well as numerous company approvals, including BAE Systems, Spirit and Messier-Dowty.
Steve constantly assesses the current quality standards and company approvals, enabling Morgan Ward to obtain and deliver a consistent, high quality service, compliant with UK and international standards.
